story – The Pandavas had completed 12 years of exile and 1 year of exile in the Mahabharata. After this Sri Krishna reached Hastinapur as the messenger of Pandavas and told Duryodhana that now return the Pandavas to their kingdom. But, Duryodhana did not listen to Krishna.
Krishna tried to convince Duryodhana in many ways, but Duryodhana was not ready to give the Pandavas even a village. When Shrikrishna started going from the court, Duryodhana said to him, “If you come here then how can you go without having food, I invite you to dine with me.”
Krishna said, ‘My rule is that I keep two things in mind while dining with someone here and with someone. First, I am very hungry. Secondly, the one in front is feeding me with a lot of love. At the moment, these two things are not with you. First thing, I’m not hungry right now. Secondly, you are not obeying me rightly. You want to feed me, but I do not see love in it. As you have a nature, there can be a conspiracy in this too. ‘
After this, Krishna went to dine at Vidur.
Learning Shri Krishna has learned that whenever we go to eat food at someone’s place, it must be kept in mind that how are the thoughts of the feeder, how is his intention? Because food affects our mind. If we eat food made by a person of bad nature, then his evil will enter us. If a person is fed food with the wrong intention, then he should avoid eating food here.
