One person asked Kabirdas, ‘You are a devotee, your activity is religious. But, I see that you always weave clothes, so when do you remember the one above, when do you do devotion? ‘

Kabirdas used to answer the questions of others in a different way. He said to the person, “Let’s move a little further to the crossroads.”

Both walked together. On the way, a woman was returning from the pavement with water. A pot full of water was placed on his head. She was walking in her fun singing songs. He did not even hold the pitcher, but the pitcher was fixed on the head, it was not falling and the water of the pitcher was not spilling.

Kabirdas said to the person, ‘See this woman? She is going to her house singing fun and singing songs. Its focus is on its pitcher, on its songs as well as on the road. I just follow this principle in my life. My mind is also in God and I do not give up work of worldliness. ‘
