story – Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was a saint of a very different nature. Whatever work he did, he used to do worry-free. They started crying while talking, sometimes started standing and dancing, fainted standing in front of the idol of the goddess.
His disciples knew that whatever work his guru would do, he would do it in a unique way, but he used to do one thing very drowning and carefully, that was to prepare his lotus.
Paramhansji had a lota, which was used for personal work. They used to scrub this lotus 3-4 times a day. They did not forget to clean the lotta before going to sleep at night and after getting up in the morning. They used to clean the lotus very deeply, but not by rubbing it very deeply. Used to shine the lotus from inside and outside with the thumb.
The disciples used to see Paramhansa ji while doing this work every day. He used to wonder why Paramahansa does this work by drowning so much? A lota can be claimed by anyone, why do they do it themselves this way? One day the disciples asked their guru, ‘Why do you wash the lotus so diligently? Is there a secret behind this? Is this a magical lotta? ‘
Paramhansa ji said with a smile, ‘The truth is, this is a magical lotta. When I clean this lot, I do it by assuming that it is my mind. Dust accumulates on this lotus many times throughout the day, in the same way dirt keeps accumulating on our mind every second. If I wash this lotus so well, then it teaches me that our mind should be cleaned in the same way. Every moment dirt is accumulated on this mind and if you miss even once, this mind will get you wrong. ‘
Learning – We should save our mind from evils every second. If you do not clear your mind, then it will get us to do wrong things. The message of cleanliness should be taken that we should keep the body clean not only from outside but also from inside.
