story – King Dasaratha was old in Ramayana, but he had no children. Because of this they used to remain worried. One day the king reached his guru Vasishthaji.

Dasarathaji said to the Guru, ‘I am a king and the old man. I can’t even say my grief to anyone, but you are my mentor. That’s why I have come to share my sorrow with you. Suggest some such solution that I may have children in my house. ‘

Vasishthaji said, ‘King, you have done very well that you have come to me. Grief must be shared with someone. You should perform the Putrakameshti Yajna. You will have four sons with this sacrifice. All four sons will be more than one.

Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna were all born under the influence of this yajna. Dasarathaji went to his guru in a state of grief and he also found a solution to his problem.

Learning – The lesson of this story is that sorrows come in everyone’s life. Big people also have to face sorrows. At such a time, we do not understand with whom to share the sorrow? Because most of the people in the society are those who make fun of us by listening to our sorrows, but the gurus do not do that. We must share our grief with the Guru. The Guru listens to us seriously, understands and also suggests ways to solve the problem. We have to take measures only. Dasharathaji performed the yajna, Vashistha only showed the way.
