Dronacharya said, ‘I only give knowledge of archery to the princes. That is why you cannot make you your disciple. ‘

Eklavya at the same time accepted Dronacharya as his mentor. He reached his area in the forest and made a statue of Dronacharya from the soil there. Ekalavya started practicing bow and arrow while remaining in discipline in front of the Guru’s idol.

In the Mahabharata, this story of Eklavya has been linked to the formula of the rule. If a person works with rules, discipline and dedication then what can be the result, we can understand from this story.

By practicing regularly, Eklavya became proficient in the art of dropping and returning arrows. Once Eklavya was practicing, then a dog came there and started barking. Due to this, the practice of Eklavya started getting problematic. Then she closed the dog’s mouth, leaving seven arrows together.

At that time the Kauravas and the Pandavas were roaming the forest with sons Dronacharya. When that dog arrived in front of these people, Dronacharya and all the princes were surprised to see him. So many arrows were killed with the same skill in the dog’s mouth, with not a drop of blood coming out of his mouth.

Dronacharya and the prince began searching for the archer who shot an arrow in the dog’s mouth. After a while searching, all the people reached Eklavya. Ekalavya bowed to Dronacharya and told that I am your only disciple. Dronacharya was shocked to hear this.

Then the Guru said to all his disciples, ‘Eklavya has become so efficient today, so it is the effect of his discipline, rules and dedication. These three things are very important in the field of education.

Learning Eklavya did not have Guru Drona present, but he became proficient in archery with his discipline and constant practice in the absence of the Guru. We should also keep this in mind. If we want to learn something, we must practice continuously with discipline, rules and dedication.
