Mahamrityunjaya Mantra

Chant the mantra by sitting in front of the Shivling

Chanting this mantra should be done sitting in front of Shivalinga. The devotee chanting the mantra should take special care of cleanliness. Light a lamp in front of the Shivling and chant the mantra with full concentration. For this, a garland of Rudraksha should be used. The number of chants should be at least 108.

Keep these things in mind

The chanting of the mantra must be absolutely correct. Those who are unable to pronounce this mantra themselves correctly, they can get a Brahmin to recite the mantra. The lamp should be kept burning while chanting the mantra. Always chant the mantra while sitting on the pedestal. While chanting, the devotee should face towards the east. The devotee should stay away from wrong deeds. Otherwise the merit of chanting mantra is not found.
