Chaturmas: Four months of rule restraint
Chaturmas i.e. four months from July to November. More than half of the days of July-August and September in public life are of rain. Also, all the big festivals and festivals are celebrated till November. So it was difficult to travel in these days due to the upsurge in the river drains. Many types of animals are also born in the rain. Therefore, in the Chaturmas it was proposed to stay in one place in moderation.

Green vegetables can be eaten when Chaturmas are over
It is basically a rainy season in Chaturmas. At this time, due to clouds and rain, sunlight cannot come on the earth. At this time the digestive power of the body also decreases, due to which the body becomes a little weak. Due to excess moisture, bacteria and viruses become more present at this time and green vegetables also get infected by them. According to Ayurveda, eating green vegetables at this time can cause health problems, so eating green vegetables, brinjals, etc. is prohibited during this time.
After the end of Chaturmas, the moisture in the season decreases and the full light of the sun comes to the earth. This weather is hostile to harmful bacteria and viruses. Therefore, green vegetables are also free from their infection at this time. Digestive power is also improved by sunlight and favorable environment. This is the reason why green vegetables are included in eating after Chaturmas.
