Traditional dishes such as samosa, Gulab Jamun or Murukku, are delicacies that are enjoyed during these days. But perhaps the biggest attraction is the habit of playing cards and trusting self luck.

During Diwali, it is believed that the more people are gathered to play cards, the greater the force would be to attract Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of luck and beauty, giving all players an equal chance to win. However, not just any card game is played these days. Being a tradition that has been going on for many years, needless to say, that only the original games of this holiday are favoured by luck. Teen Patti

Teen Patti is a game originally from India and is very popular throughout South Asia. For many, it is the official game of Diwali, because people consider that its existence is a direct consequence of the gods of luck.

In English, the name of the game means “three cards”, precisely because each player has three cards to participate in. But such a small number of cards is not synonymous with being an easy game, which is why there is this Teen Patti guide in which you can learn in a simple way the basic rules to play and manage to gather the best hand to win.

Rummy

Unlike the previous one, where each player receives three cards, there are many more cards implied, being a total of 13 for each. It is better known worldwide since it is very dynamic and does not want complex strategies to win, simply the first person in which it is able to create several sequences of cards, will win. Of course, it requires a lot of practice.

Bluff

Many people know this game through different names because it is an oral tradition, for example, “Cheat” or “I Doubt It” are some of these. The truth is that it is one of the funniest card games, where uncertainty and lies are the protagonists.

Although to play it is necessary to know its rules in advance, to give you an idea, it is played with all the cards face-down, and the players must lie about the card they have seen. The player who guesses correctly will win, and whoever has lost must collect all the cards that had been laid out on the table.
