In view of the increasing infection in Kolar area of ​​Bhopal, the Containment Zone has been made from April 9 to April 19 at 6 am. Kolar with a population of more than 2 lakhs will be the largest containment zone area of ​​the state.

There will be a nine-day lockdown in Ratlam district. Everything is being closed here from Friday evening of April 9 to 6 in the morning of April 19. In Khargone, Katni and Betul, all will be locked for seven days from 6 pm on April 9 to 6 am on April 17. Earlier in Chhindwara, a lockdown has been imposed for seven consecutive days from 8 pm on Thursday, 8 April.

A day earlier, a night curfew was announced in all cities of Madhya Pradesh. But after a record 4324 corona patients arrived in 24 hours on Wednesday, the government announced the Saturday-Sunday lockdown. Announcing this, the CM said that his intention was not to lockdown.

Sunday lockdown in all cities, government offices will open only in 5 days

The state government has announced Sunday lockdown in all cities of Madhya Pradesh. All government offices will open only 5 days a week for the next 3 months. Their timing will be from 10 am to 6 pm. Saturday and Sunday offices will be completely closed. Night curfew will be applicable in all urban areas of the state from 10 am to 6 am daily from Thursday till the next order. Total lockdown will remain in Chhindwara district from 8 pm to 7 days.

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan took this decision after discussion in the emergency meeting on Wednesday evening. It was also decided in the meeting that with the consent of the Crisis Management Group, collectors can issue lockdown orders in the urban area on Sunday as well as on Saturday. Containment zones will be created in the more infected urban areas of the state, a lockdown of 7 to 10 days can be imposed in the container area.

Transition rate at 12 per cent, more than 100 cases in small towns

There have been 4324 positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours. The worsening of the situation can be gauged from the fact that the infection rate has reached 13%. The death toll has reached 4086. After Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior, more than 100 cases have been found in Barwani, Ujjain and Umaria.
