- Draupadi had asked Bhishma Pitamah, ‘Where did your knowledge go when I was being raped, why were you silent?
If a person eats food mixed with wrongly earned money, his mind is unable to think in front of bad people. Such people do not even stop bad things. In the Mahabharata, Bhishma explained this to Draupadi.
The battle of the Kauravas and the Pandavas in the Mahabharata was in its final stages. Almost all the maharathis of the Kaurava army were defeated at the hands of the Pandavas. Bhishma Pitamah was lying on the bed of arrows. At that time, after a ceasefire, all the Pandavas and Draupadi went to meet Bhishma Pitamah.
Bhishma was telling the Pandavas things of knowledge. Then Draupadi said, ‘Today you are talking about knowledge, but the day I was being raped in a large gathering, you were also there, where did your knowledge go, why were you silent at that time, help me Why not?
The grandfather said, ‘I knew, one day I will have to answer these questions of yours. At that time, I was eating food given to Duryodhana. That grain was earned by wrongdoings. By eating such food, my mind could not think anything in front of Duryodhana. I wanted to stop all this, but Duryodhana’s food stopped me. ‘
Draupadi then asked, “Then how are you talking about knowledge today?”
Bhishma said, ‘Arjun’s arrows washed away all the blood from my body. This blood was made from the food given by Duryodhana. Now there is no blood in my body, I have become free from the effects of Duryodhana’s grain, so today I am able to do these things of knowledge. ‘
The lesson of this story is that we should avoid wrong things and avoid consuming the food we have received from wrong earnings. Otherwise our brain loses the power of thinking and thinking in front of the wrong people.
