It is believed that the sun provides energy and good health to the person with 11 thousand rashias this month. If you worship the sun regularly in Paush month, then the person will be healthy and prosperous throughout the year.
11 special fasts
There will be Ganesh Chaturthi, Rukmani Ashtami, Safala Ekadashi, Swaroop Dwadashi, Pradosh Vrat, Shiva Chaturdashi, Shraddha Amavasya and the next day of Amavasya for bathing in the month of Pausha. After this, there will be Makar Sankranti, Vinayaki Chaturthi, Putrada Ekadashi, Pradosh Vrat and Pausha Purnima of bathing in Shukla Paksha.
Worship the sun like this
After bathing in the morning every morning, offer the sun with a copper vessel, roll it in water and add flowers.
Chant the Surya Mantra ‘Om Aditya Namah’ to minimize the intake of salt. Doing so will provide health benefits.
Get up before sunrise every day and do sun worship.
