Today is the Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month, it is called Rangabhari and Amalaki Ekadashi. Amla tree is worshiped along with Lord Vishnu in this fast.
According to Pt. Manish Sharma, Jyotishacharya of Ujjain, on Wednesday Ekadashi, do special worship of Ganeshji on this day. Give Ganesha a bath. Offer necklaces, janeu, new clothes. Offer Durva. In the Vaishnava section of Skanda Purana there is a chapter named Ekadashi Mahatmya. In this, the importance of all the XI of the year has been told. Lord Krishna had given knowledge of all the Ekadashis to Yudhishthira. Even today, those who observe this fast by law, they get happiness and peace by the grace of Vishnu. God fulfills the wishes of the devotee.
This Ekadashi shows the importance of Amla
Amla has been considered important in religion as well as Ayurveda. It is believed that Amla was born by Lord Vishnu. Worshiping this tree brings happiness of Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. According to Ayurveda, amla has medicinal properties. Its regular intake provides many benefits to health. Amla is used in many medicines. Regular consumption of Indian gooseberry powder can eliminate many stomach related problems. Taking a bath mixed with amla juice in water can prevent many skin related diseases.
Worship Tulsi after sunset
Along with Lord Vishnu, Tulsi worship should also be done on Ekadashi. After sunset on this day, light a lamp near Tulsi and do a circumambulation. Keep in mind that basil should not be touched in the evening. Worshiping Tulsi and Shaligram on Ekadashi maintains positivity in the house.
