Chaitra Navratri 2021: Goddess Kushmanda is worshiped on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri. The goddess created the universe with her slow laughter, due to which her name Kushmanda became famous. According to Indian spirituality, this Goddess controls the Anahata Chakra from the seven cycles of the body. In astrology, they are believed to be related to the planet Mercury. Mythological beliefs state that by worshiping him, one gets the boon of Vani Siddhi (meaning everything that comes out of the tongue).

In Navadurga the fourth Kushmanda Devi is worshiped on the fourth day of Navratri. For their worship, after bathing in the morning, retire and sit on a clean seat, wearing clean, washed clothes. Offer the idol or picture of the mother in front of her with incense, lamps etc., offer green cardamom, fennel and potter to him and distribute cardamom as prasadam. After the puja, chant the Devi’s mantra “ॐ Kushmanda Devya Namay:” or “or Goddess Sarvabhuteshu Kushmanda Rupena Sanstita, Namastasye Namastasye Namastasye Namo Namah”
