Holi Bhai Dooj : The Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month (i.e. Dwitiya after Holi) is celebrated as Bhai Dooj. According to Indian tradition, Bhai Dooj comes twice a year, first on Diwali, the next day of Govardhan Puja and second on the second day after Holi. While on Diwali, Bhai Dooj is worshiped and wished for its long life by worshiping the brother, similarly after Bhai Dooj that comes after Holi, it is prayed to avoid all the troubles faced by the brother.

The second date will start at 8.54 pm on 29 March 2021 and will end at 5.27 pm on 30 March 2021. Hence, the festival of Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on 30 March 2021. According to astrologers, the best time to celebrate Bhai Dooj will be from 06.02 am to 12.22 pm on March 20. After this, worship can also be done in Vijay Muhurta (2.17 pm to 3.06 pm).

According to legends heard in Indian folklore, there was an old man who had a son and a daughter. The daughter was married and lived in Pardesh. One day the son urges his mother that he wants to visit his sister. At this her mother gave her permission.
