At the same time, after getting the permission to open religious places some time ago, the state government handed over the responsibility of taking decision regarding Chardham Yatra to Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board. Earlier, devotees from Uttarakhand were allowed to visit. In the first phase, the board allowed residents of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts to visit their respective dhams.
From July 1, the residents were allowed to visit Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri through registration. Earlier, the state government started the Chardham Yatra for devotees from Uttarakhand only from July 1 and now devotees from other states have also been allowed to visit Chardham. However the state government has set some terms and conditions for this.

Passengers from other states arriving in Uttarakhand for the Chardham Yatra will have to register on the Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Management Board website and upload a certificate to this effect, ID proof and a negative report of the corona virus investigation. Please tell that this investigation of Corona should be done at least 72 hours before arrival in the state. Only after this, devotees will be allowed to visit Chardham.
Apart from this, those who have not undergone corona virus investigation, will have to complete the quarantine period as per the guidelines issued by the state government after entering Uttarakhand and then proof of this later (government quarantine center, we quarantine, hotel, guest House) will have to upload the photo ID on the website of the Devasthanam Management Board and get the pass and only then will these travelers be able to travel to Chardham.
