Knowing about his grief, Narada asked him to observe Jaya Ekadashi of Magh Shukla Paksha. Hearing this, Gandharva said – ‘Month! How can I do this fast by staying in this vampire vagina? Then the devarishya, by virtue of himself, fasted and worshiped Jaya Ekadashi and donated his virtues for both the Gandharvas. As soon as this virtue was met, both of them returned to their former form and thanked Narada ji. Then both of them started doing Jaya Ekadashi fast every year.
