Phalgun, the last 12th month of Hindi Panchang has started from Sunday, 28 February. In this month big festivals like Shivaratri (11 March) and Holika Dahan (28 March) will be celebrated. It is also called Fagun. Three forms of Lord Krishna are worshiped exclusively in Phagun.

Falgun is very special from the perspective of spirituality and nature as well as celebration. Mahashivaratri, the date of marriage of Shiva-Parvati, is celebrated in this month. Phalgun has a tradition of worshiping Shri Krishna and Chandra. It is believed that Chandradev was born in the month of Phalgun.
Phalgun’s special dates
There will be some more special dates in this month apart from Shivaratri and Holi. Vijaya Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha will be on 9th, Amalaki Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha will be on 24th March. Amavasya of this month will be celebrated on the 13th. On March 28, it is Phalgun Purnima. Holika Dahan will take place on this day. Holi will be played on the next day i.e. on the 29th and from this day Chaitra will also begin the first month of the Hindi Panchang.
Change in daily life in Falgun Mahin
From this month, the heat will start increasing. Due to this, catering must be changed. Avoid eating such things, which can cause indigestion. Eat a balanced diet. Eat more and more vegetables. Wake up early in the morning and exercise. Meditate for a while. Offer water to the sun after bathing and start the day by worshiping.
