Fast story of Shatila Ekadashi…
Lord Vishnu had narrated the story of Shatatila Ekadashi fast to Narada Muni one day according to which a widowed Brahmini lived on the earth in ancient times. Who was my great devotee and worshiped me with full devotion. Once that Brahmin kept a fast for a month and worshiped me.

Her body was cleansed due to the effect of the fast, but that Brahmini never donated food, one day Lord Vishnu himself came to that Brahmin to beg for alms. When Vishnu asked for alms, he picked up an earthen object and gave it. Then Lord Vishnu told that when the Brahmin left the body and came to my world, he found an empty hut and mango tree here.

Seeing the empty hut, the Brahmin asked that I am a pious, then why did I get an empty hut? Then I told that this happened due to not providing food and giving me a body of clay. Then Lord Vishnu told that when the Dev girls come to meet you, then you should open your door only when they tell you the law of Shatila Ekadashi fast. Then the brahmini fasted on Shattila Ekadashi and her hut was filled with money.
